This pink and red abstract painting is created on un-stretched canvas. The wall art will enhance any room in your home. It is original contemporary art created by emerging artist Cheryl Wasilow. It measures approximately 35" x 28 1/2". You can have it stretched or mount it to a piece of wood. It can also be displayed tacked to a wall. It is primitive, raw and ooak original art. Some of the colors are pink, green, yellow, white, gray, black and red oxide.
On the back of this painting is a (reproduction/giclee) of an original painting I created. I painted this abstraction on the back of that canvas.
If you decide to stretch this painting I recommend you take it to a professional framing shop that has experience stretching an un-stretched canvas painting. It should not be stretched too tightly in order to keep the paint and inks from cracking.
The artwork is painted out to the edges.
Some pictures above display the painting tacked to the wall at 4 corners and it displays the slightly curled edges. There is a spotlight on the painting at the time of the photos.
The measurements are approximately 28 1/2 inches by 35 inches. It is slightly wider than 28 1/2" in some spots adding to the primitive feel. It is only uneven on the left side and at the very least 28 1/2" wide. My aesthetic is to leave it raw and slightly uneven however you can cut it straight.
This painting looks "well composed" whether you view it vertically or horizontally.
