Mixed media shabby chic abstract painting with everything but the kitchen sink incorporated into the paint and mediums. A perfect artistic mix of feminine pink and blue pastel colors will enhance your walls. This painting is California cool and chic and it was created by contemporary artist Cheryl Wasilow.
Having enough time to create paintings when you have an art business on your own is not an easy task! There is so much marketing involved and it really is daily. The photography, social media, writing SEO, keeping up with your web sites, bookeeping, inventory, purchasing, research, technical issues etc keep me so busy it's difficult to get creative. I have to walk away from the practical business functions and take some time to transition into the grove of zoning out in order to create. Creating is the only thing I love and want to be doing. I long for an actual large studio space so that I'm free to do whatever comes into my imagination with no boundaries for size. I want to be able to work on 10 paintings at once whether on easel or the walls. I'll not give up hope that some day I'll have the luxury of bohemian living! Help will drop from the sky and a large studio with tons of huge windows will appear on the other side of my home. I'll be surrounded by paint, canvas and nothing but the light.
